The Ultimate In-Depth Class for Maple Sugaring
Have you found yourself wondering about the ins and outs of maple sugaring? Are you interested in tapping your own maple trees one day? Join us for this brand new offering- From Sap to Syrup. During this hands-on class, you will learn:
All participants will have the opportunity to taste-test and bottle their own syrup to take home at the end of the class. Bring along your questions! Our sugaring experts will guide you through the process using traditional techniques and terminology.
This program is designed for adults only due to the inherent risks associated with the evaporator and boiling sap/syrup. All participants must be 18+ and sign a liability waiver upon arrival.
This is a 2-hour, mostly outdoor program, so please dress for the weather! The "indoor" portion of the program will take place within our Sugar Shack, which is not temperature controlled. March in Wisconsin can be freezing or 70 degrees. Prepare for snow, ice, rain, and mud!
Please save our "sap" date of Saturday, March 23rd. Because sap flow is reliant on temperature patterns, we may have to reschedule the program if sap isn't flowing.
Admit One to From Sap to Syrup on Saturday, March 16th at 5pm. All participants MUST be 18+ and sign a liability waiver.
