Turned Wooden Icicle Ornament Workshop

Learn to use a wood lathe by creating your very own wooden icicle ornaments!  Just in time for the holidays, give the gift of a new experience, or gift your handmade ornaments. 

Each ticket is good for one person.  You will have access to our lathe for 1 hour and 45 minutes.  You will receive expert help and guidance from Overocker Woodworking and bring home your creations. This is a perfect family or friends activity. Each session cost $40 per lathe/person.  For families or groups; we will have enough lathes for up to 4 people per session.

Please sign up using an email you check often: important safety information and instructions will be sent in the days leading to the program.  All participants will be required to sign a safety waiver for Overocker Woodworking and Hawthorn Hollow.

Instructors Bio

Overocker Woodworking is more than a business. We are a family. I am Tom Overocker, owner and Cabinetmaker with more than 20 years of woodworking experience. Kristina, my wife of nearly 20 years has assisted me in the workshop, learning skills as gaining experience with each new build. Our children, Audrey and Grant, have grown up playing in the sawdust and now enjoy working alongside us on custom builds. We turn workshop time into family time. 

As a participant in our classes we will work with you. Meet you where you are at. Build you up; not tear you down. Woodworking is a fantastic and diverse art. We want you to share in our joy of learning new skills and mastering a craft.
