Learn the Technique and Traditions of Maple Sugaring!

The Sugar Maple, and the sap harvested from it, has been part of the heritage of the upper Midwest for centuries. Join us as we embark on a journey through the history and process of maple sugaring.

Participants will learn about Native American techniques for harvesting and cooking syrup (maple sugaring) through stories and hands-on activities, while also learning of the modern changes made to the process. All participants get to try 100% Maple Syrup snow cones and have the opportunity to purchase our 100% Maple Syrup (while supplies last).

This program is designed for families. All participants ages 4+ must purchase tickets.

Tickets are $15 per person (plus fee). Children under 4 are free.

This is a 2-hour outdoor program, so please dress for the weather!

March in Wisconsin can be freezing or 70 degrees. Prepare for snow, ice, rain, and mud!
